In 2025, Into the Winds collaborates on the project "Carcassonne 1304", co-produced by Excurio and the Centre des monuments nationaux, offering a virtual reality immersion into the heart of the medieval city of Carcassonne. Thanks to our ensemble’s work on historical sources and the "functional" repertoire of medieval minstrels, the experience is enriched with music and signals aligned with the latest scholarly research. A project that combines entertainment and original heritage discovery, where historically informed sound anchors the narrative and adds an unprecedented depth to our understanding of the past.
